Area Guide
The hotel lies at the northern end of Cala Ratjada resort, an area famed for its dramatic landscapes where rocky shoreline meets dense pine forest. Its main advantage is also within walking distance from Cala Agulla beach- frequently listed among Mallorca’s best due to both clarity water and natural surroundings free from dense construction right at water’s edge. The walk to the beach takes about ten or fifteen minutes through a shady forest park zone-a pleasant ritual in itself.
Meanwhile, it has managed to extricate itself from the very heart of the most raucous center of nightlife, yet still remains within walking distance. In fifteen minutes one can reach the promenade and port area of Cala Ratjada where all seafood restaurants, tapas bars and shops are concentrated. Guests can have total silence at night but with easy access to plunge into the evening life of the resort with its promenade and cocktail bars if desired.
Excellent opportunities for active recreation, too, in the environs of the hotel. Hiking trails have been established right from the hotel to Far de Capdepera or over the hill to Cala Mesquida on a wilder beach. This is an area for nature lovers-here air smells strongly of sun-warmed pine needles and sea salt grocery supermarkets and pharmacies are within walking distance; hence all holiday requisites are at hand without any taxi rides.
